IPPV Report: Jim Cornette: Unplugged & Uncensored Q&A (08-01-2013)

After leaving Ring of Honor Jim Cornette stayed away from the public spotlight for almost a year. This is the first time in 2013 he's at a wrestling event, The Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Fanfest. During that time he's lost a lot of weight. He's joined by PWI's Mike Johnson and legendary referee Tommy Young. It's a Q&A so Cornette answers questions from the audience.

He does talk about Kevin Steen and the problems he had with him. I think it's great to finally hear his side of the story. I think there was only one question about Ring of Honor. People were more interested in what happened it and '80s and '90s.

Cornette lays out his problems with where pro wrestling is today. His problems with ICP and Five Dollar Wrestling is asked about. And he talks about if he would agree to be in The WWE Hall of Fame or not. Jim Cornette also gives us some great road stories from JCP and SMW.

Cornette has fun with the audience and we get a few bizarre stuff. The only thing Jim didn't want to discuss was Ric Flair's problems since Flair was such a great friend of his and done so much for him. And straight away he said he didn't want to talk about Vince Russo, or "he who shall not be named" unless it was a story nobody heard of yet. There was none.

If you're a fan of Mr. Cornette this is definitely for you. It's only about 10 dollars on High Spots TV for a show that's over two hours so I'd recommend it. It maybe not have much to do with current wrestling or Ring of Honor but he does give us great stories of the past. And I enjoyed his interaction with Tommy Young, who gets the last question about WCW Tower of Doom match.

It's on IPPV on High Spots TV.
